From creative concepting to competitive analysis to usability studies, research is an integral part of creating successful design solutions. Here are a few samples of the research phases in my design work.

In 2008, dsrstudio was subcontracted to help perform a usability analysis for a Plantronics headset that was having issues with users. After several hours analyzing the installation process and usability of three separate headsets and their Windows system drivers, I assisted in the final review that illuminated the specific issues and pointed to clear recommendations to solve the problems.
